Privacy Policy

How information submitted through this website is handled.

Our privacy commitment

Child Ambassadors Development (CAD) is committed to handling personal information responsibly, particularly information relating to children, young people, partners, donors and safeguarding concerns.

Information you provide

This website may collect information that you voluntarily submit through contact, partnership, newsletter, donation-interest and safeguarding forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, organisation and message.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to respond to enquiries, follow up partnership or support requests, manage newsletter interest and respond to safeguarding concerns. Information should only be accessed by authorised CAD personnel for the relevant purpose.

Website analytics

CAD uses lightweight first-party website analytics to understand which public pages are visited, which important website actions are clicked, broad device categories and general referral sources. The analytics system uses an anonymous session identifier and does not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, form contents or raw IP addresses as analytics data. Detailed anonymous analytics records are retained only for the period configured by authorised administrators and may be removed through scheduled housekeeping.

Online donations and payment providers

When you choose to donate online, CAD processes the contact and donation information needed to create and reconcile the transaction. Payment processing is completed through configured providers such as Safaricom M-Pesa/Daraja and Paystack. CAD does not ask for or store your M-Pesa PIN, card PIN, CVV or full card details. Payment references and transaction status may be retained for financial reconciliation, acknowledgement and audit purposes.

Website security

The website uses a necessary session cookie to support form security. Form submissions are stored in a server-protected area and should be retained only as long as needed for the relevant purpose and applicable organisational requirements.

Your choices

You may contact CAD to ask about information you have submitted through this website or to request correction where appropriate.
